THE AUTOMOBILE SWAP : DECEMBER 2010
We all love our cars! Old, new, antique, sporty, racy, practical, covered with mud, shiny fresh from the carwash, dogs in the back seats, bumper stickers and "artwork" hanging from rear view mirrors, convertibles, sedans, racy cars, NASCAR cars....
Barbie swap : December 2010
Barbie & Friends: we love her or hate her, but she's been around almost as long as I have, so we'll "honour" her. As long as you don't make it x-rated, anything goes. Vintage Barbie, Modern Barbie, Zetti Barbie, Beautiful Barbie.

WINNIE THE POOH
All of us just love the foursome who always get up to something or other..............let's make a set of 4 x ATC's with the 4 lovable characters: Winnie the Pooh and Piglet and Tiger and Eaore(my fav)
We will be doing a different background again( girls i think we must start a book........with all these techniques) it will be a winner!!!!
Technique!!!!!
- Take any fruit or veggie, cut in half, have some paint or inks ready in a foam dish, lightly press into paint/ink and press onto paper. You can even take a paintbrush and use it to paint the fruit/veggie and then print.
- What i love to use is celery...........you can cut it in half/skew/sideways/and sliver it and each time a different pattern is formed.
- More than one item can be used to get required effect........just depend on yourself..........cut up everything....hehehe.....you will be surprised at what you can do with it.......
closing date: was 15th August now 31 August 2010

Advent Calendar
This was the brief:
I have been toying with this idea for a long time now!
I want us to make advent calendars, now it does not have to be A3 , but the size that you are comfortable with!
You will take stong cardboard, cover with xmas theme paper, cut a window for 24 days, attach a small bead to the front to pull it open, behind each window we put a small craft related item( absolutely anything), attach with cellotape.( you can decorate the front anyway you choose, this is just an indication of wht can be done)
You can put two holes on top and put some string/ribbon,ect....so that it can be hanged.
This will be our way of bringing some joy to somebody!!
The number you will make, will depend on the number of sing-ups!
The whole calendar will be entirely your choice!!!

Travelling Journal
Wouldn't it be nice if we can start a travelling journal? The way it will work is we each get a blank journal and cover it any way we want. We do our first entry on the first page and then send it to a member of the group. That member must then do something on the next two pages and send it along. The journal will keep travelling from member to member until it reaches you again. You will have a piece of art from every member of the group by the time it gets back to you.
Or we can each do a page on nice thick card and post one to every member. When you have received all the pages from each member you can bind them into a journal. You will have a journal with a page from every member of the group. You then write your name and a personal message and date on the back of your page. We can make this a project to work on until the end of the year and then send our pages as Christmas prezzies to each other.
We can make the pages a standard A5 size.
